Ending the Era of Bombs
The use of bombs is the ultimate expression of unnatural trauma. It is a violent disruption of the human body, the spirit, and the Earth itself. My advocacy is driven by a singular, non-negotiable commitment: Ending the bombing of children and the dismantling of the global machinery of explosive destruction.
The Unnatural Trauma
The human nervous system was never meant to withstand the concussive force of an explosion. Beyond the physical devastation, bombs leave behind a psychic and cellular trauma that can last generations. This is especially true for children, whose development and sense of safety are shattered by the sounds and impacts of war.
Three Pillars of Action
To end this cycle, I am working across three distinct fronts:
1. The Museum of Remembrance & Peace
I am currently in the process of creating a Museum dedicated to the history and the human cost of explosive warfare. This is not merely a collection of artifacts; it is a space for:
Education: Showing the reality of what bombs do to communities.
Truth-Telling: Highlighting the specific impact on children and non-combatants.
Visioning: A sanctuary to imagine a world where conflict is resolved through dialogue, not detonation.
2. Healing the Land: De-mining the Earth
Millions of bombs remain "live" in the ground long after a conflict ends, turning the soil into a permanent hazard. Through my work, I support efforts to find and dismantle unexploded ordnance (UXO).
Planetary Cleansing: We cannot have "Planetary Guardianship" if the land itself is booby-trapped.
Restoring Safety: Clearing the way so that children in war-torn regions can walk to school or play in the grass without fear.
3. Healing the Body: Yoga for Survivors
For those who have survived the unthinkable—the "blown up" and the amputees—the path back to the self is through the body.
Somatic Restoration: Using specialized, trauma-informed yoga to help survivors reintegrate their nervous systems.
Prosthetic Support: Combining movement with modern technology to help survivors regain their dignity and mobility.
Frequency Healing: Utilizing breath and sound to clear the concussive shock stored in the cells.
A Lifelong Vow
We must stop treating the bombing of civilians as an "inevitability" of history. Through the Tenasi Community Center, the Kom Ombo Institute, and my upcoming museum, I will continue to fight for a world where no child ever has to look at the sky with fear.
